The "2023 Huawei Electronic Product Electrostatic Protection New Trend Exchange Conference" jointly organized by the Shanghai Anti static Industry Association, Huawei Manufacturing Quality and Process Expert Committee, and National Electrostatic Standardization Technical Committee was officially held on November 15th in the R10-115 conference room of Huawei Southern Factory B area. This conference fully utilizes China's existing position as a major manufacturer of anti-static products, focusing on industries such as automotive electronics, integrated circuit chip and intelligent communication terminal manufacturing, Internet of Things and artificial intelligence, satellite communication, etc., to explore new technologies and trends in electrostatic protection for electronic products. Strengthen communication and cooperation between the anti-static industry and the application end, and enhance the electrostatic protection capabilities of electronic products during production, use, and storage.

With the rise and development of new technologies such as semiconductors, chips, big data, artificial intelligence, and satellite communication, the market demand for anti-static has been greatly driven. Especially in the semiconductor electronic materials industry, due to the particularity of its production technology, involving hundreds of manufacturing processes, the requirements for electrostatic protection are also more stringent. According to the research report of the International Electrotechnical Commission's Electrostatic Professional Committee, entering the 10 nanometer era of chips, a static charge of 0.1 nanoculon and an electrostatic field of 1000V/m may permanently render the chips ineffective. This is a huge challenge that both microelectronic product manufacturers and anti-static product manufacturers need to face together. New challenges have brought about new changes, and there is an urgent need to explore industry standards, cutting-edge technology processes, and case studies. To this end, the Shanghai Anti static Industry Association, Huawei Manufacturing Quality and Process Expert Committee, and National Electrostatic Standardization Technical Committee jointly held the "2023 Huawei • Electronic Product Electrostatic Protection New Trend Exchange Conference". The purpose of this conference is to gather industry experts, scholars, and business representatives to jointly explore new technologies and trends in electrostatic protection for electronic products, providing safer and more reliable guarantees for the production and application of electronic products.

This exchange meeting was held through a combination of offline and online methods, with more than 100 people including Huawei manufacturing engineering supervisors, experts, electrostatic protection project leaders, various business electrostatic protection technical personnel, and business supervisors participating. The meeting was first welcomed by Mr. Wang Yingdong, Vice Minister of Huawei Manufacturing Engineering Department and Minister of Manufacturing Engineering Capability Center. Minister Wang welcomed and thanked the Shanghai Anti static Industry Association, the National Static Electricity Standardization Technical Committee, and the members of the association who attended the meeting. He hoped that through this new communication platform, Huawei's level of static electricity protection could be improved, the development of static electricity standardization could be promoted, and the technology and quality of static electricity protection products in China could be enhanced.

Mr. Chen Dongsheng, a veneer process expert (ESD) from Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., introduced "Huawei ESD protection introduction and opportunities for industry collaborative improvement", Ms. Cai Lihua, a member and secretary of the National Technical Committee for Electrostatic Standardization, introduced "path research for electrostatic protection standardization", Mr. Guo Xianzheng and Mr. Liu Yun from Weili International Science and Trade (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. introduced "electrostatic control of advanced semiconductor processes", Mr. Zhuang Xiaorong from Zhejiang Sanwei Anti static Equipment Co., Ltd. introduced "the application of non humidity dependent PPE and PPO materials in packaging materials", Mr. Cheng Xuefeng from Mount Huangshan Jiameiqi Technology Co., Ltd. introduced "the application of anti-static powder coatings in semiconductor and electronic equipment housings", Shanghai Mr. Bi Gexiong, President of Anti static Industry Association, introduced "T/ESD 4001《 Mr. Gu Hai from Shenzhen Zhongming Technology Co., Ltd. introduced the application of anti-static and clean cloud intelligent control platform. Mr. Huang Jianhua, Executive Vice President of Shanghai Anti static Industry Association, represented Shanghai Chenlong Electrostatic Technology Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Fushen Industrial Group Co., Ltd. to introduce the development of non humidity dependent low friction SMD packaging materials. Mr. Xu Yanlin, Deputy Director of the Space Materials and Structural Protection Research Laboratory of Beijing Satellite Environmental Engineering Research Institute, introduced the mechanism and protection of static electricity generation in space environment. During the conference, participants had in-depth discussions and exchanges on these topics.
